Shasta Wildlife

Annual Open House

Open House, Facility Tours and Baby Bird Shower
Location: SWRR facility, 3752 Rupert Road
Directions: For help getting to our facility please go to our Directions and Maps web page.

Every year before the rescues start to come to the Center, we are open, on this day only, to the general public. Tours of the facility are given and you can get up close and personal with our Ed Animals. Please read the Sneaking Bliss Blog for an article on the 2015 event.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a Baby Bird Shower gift of paper towels, toilet paper, heating pads, food, etc. to help defray the cost of running the center during the year. For suggestions on “Baby Bird Shower” gifts, download this list: Baby Bird Shower Gift Suggestions (pdf file, 265 kB).

We also have an Amazon.com Wish List which suggest items you can purchase for SWRR. Please see our Membership and Donations web page for more information on this and other ways to help. This is a great time to bring your children, family members and friends to see what we do and meet some of our animals. For those considering volunteering for SWRR this is a great opportunity to talk to our staff, meet our animals and see our facilities.
