Classes & Education

Learning opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts

Whether you’re a new volunteer, an aspiring wildlife rehabilitator, or simply passionate about learning, we’ve gathered educational resources and training opportunities for every level.

SWRR Volunteer Training

New Volunteer Orientation

All new volunteers must complete an orientation with the Center Coordinator before training begins. Print and fill out our volunteer application to start the process for the upcoming season.

Ongoing Training

SWRR conducts classes throughout the year to help volunteers learn about the Center and wildlife care. Training is also provided at our monthly Animal Care Committee (ACC) meetings. All volunteers are encouraged to attend.

See our Coming Events page for the next ACC meeting date and location.
